Once again American School of Valencia hosted Dr. Sharon Brennan, Ed. D, associate professor at the College of Education of the University of Kentucky developing a professional visit. Ms. Brennan stayed from October 23 to 25 to meet the four UK students developing their teacher’s training at ASV -by doing class observations and interviews- but she also had a chance to lead a professional development session for a small group of our teachers.
Dr. Brennan is a renowned educator in the areas of globally-minded teaching practices and curriculum development. She is the director of the UK Overseas Student Teaching Program and highlighted the benefits of the ASV-UK partnership to offer future educators “resources and strategies to have a successful life in our interconnected world.”
