Halloween at ASV

Halloween has been part of the school culture for a long time and, as it is traditional at ASV, students in every school division enjoyed special activities on Thursday, October 31, 2019.

Preschool groups gathered early in the morning for an assembly in which there were Halloween songs and rhymes.  Grade 5 students led the outdoor round of games in Parks A and B before and after the mid-morning break; lots of children, as well as their teachers, wore spooky but also funny costumes.

There was a Halloween-themed luncheon and Preschool children had a trick or treat walk along the office area and the Grades 1-2 hallway at 14:30.  During the last two periods, Middle School and High School had free-time for games and a costume contest organized by the Student Council.

ASV Foundation Halloween Party

In the evening, the school campus hosted the sixth edition of the ASV Foundation Halloween Party.  The top event was a redesigned haunted house, set up under the them Haunted High School and with some High School students as volunteers, but there was also an area with games and arts and crafts for children, food and drinks in Park B, a costume contest, and a magic show featuring the local magician Santillusions.  Find an extensive photo gallery on the ASV Foundation Facebook fan page.
