Recent Activities Involving IB Students in Grades 11 and 12
English Paper 1 Final Preparation
With IB External Exams approaching, the HL and SL English classes had a shared activity aimed to gain confidence before taking the language exam known as Paper 1. Guided by their teachers, Ms. Kiraly and Ms. Bird, they reviewed all concepts learned during their two years together – like Marxism and the literary power structures, power dynamics, and humor theories – and read through recent practices of this paper to work towards improving their work and give each other feedback.
Collaborative Science
Multidisciplinary projects help students apply what they learn in different subjects. Two week ago, the Grade 11 students who are enrolled in all of the Experimental Science courses (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science) completed their work for the “Collaborative Science Project” by presenting the conclusions of their research.
