The One Book, One School project is back! From April 9-12, 2024 the whole ASV community will gather around the same book, Just Ask! by Sonia Sotomayor to read it, talk about it, learn from it, and above all, enjoy it!
Ms. Sonia Sotomayor, a US Supreme Court Associate Justice, was the first latino woman to hold this position on the highest court in the US. Illustrated by Rafael Lopez, Just Ask! highlights the CARE Value of Respect Others, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals of Reduced Inequalities and Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
This is the third year ASV has organized the One Book, One School initiative to share the joy of reading while building a common language and understanding on varied school values.
