ASV Shines Bright!
We are thrilled to share the exciting results from the Iberia League tournaments that took place on April 29 and 30, where our talented athletes showcased their skills and sportsmanship.
Girls Tournament
Our girls’ soccer, basketball, and volleyball teams traveled to Barcelona to compete against really talented opponents. Despite facing tough weather conditions and competition, all our teams demonstrated huge passion when playing.
One of the girls’ soccer teams secured an impressive second-place finish, while the basketball and volleyball teams both claimed third place. Some of our student-athletes were selected in the All Star team, with Ginevra C, Maeva M, Bori G, Alicia P, Martina G being part of this distinctive group of players.
In addition to our commendable athletic achievements, ASV was honored to receive the coveted Iberia Spirit Award. Congratulations to all the girls for their outstanding performance!
Boys Tournament Hosted by ASV
Meanwhile, the boys’ basketball and soccer teams represented ASV at our home facilities. With three teams in soccer and one in basketball, our boys showcased their talent and determination on the court. We feel extremely proud of all our boys, with one of the boys soccer teams raising the Champion’s Trophy.
Additionally, our boys’ basketball team exhibited remarkable improvement throughout the tournament, securing a well-deserved third-place finish. Special mention for the selected players for the All Star team: Francisco O, Matteo C, Nicolas G and Jingtian K.
We would like to congratulate all student-athletes and coaches involved in the competitions during these two exhausting but extremely satisfying days. Special thank you to all families and friends who came to support the teams and created a unique and special atmosphere.
