Parent volunteers from Grade 4 as well as the student Ethan L. from Grade 6 participated this week in the latest session of the park time club Grades 3-5 Language Lab. “After a brief presentation on Lunar New Year led by our guests, students learned to write the Fú “good luck” in Chinese and they made a firework art project,” Ms. Abigail Ramirez describes. Kids also received a red envelope with chocolate coins for good luck!
“It was a wonderful experience learning about our classmates’ traditions and language,” Ms. Ramirez says at the same time she announces that the next session will be about the Brazilian Carnaval.
