Domingo C. Salazar-García, Part of Another Relevant Research on Human Evolution

Domingo Carlos Salazar-García, a student part of the Class of 1999, was recently on the news for his research at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, in Leipzig, Germany. This ASV graduate was part of the scientific team that investigated a group of human tombs dated ca. 9,000 BC and east central Brazil and found the oldest case of decapitation in the Americas. Salazar-García was in charge of the chemical analysis of the bones and described the main conclusions on these news reports published in El Mundo and El País.
