A Grade 7 Student participates in a Multimedia Project Promoted by Puçol
Every year on November 20, UNICEF invites countries and communities to be involved in an “annual day of action for children” on the occasion of the anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The 2021 theme, “A better future, for every child”, highlights how children and young people “are raising their voices on the issues that matter to their generation and calling for adults to create a better future.”
In our local community, the Puçol City Council and all of the schools in Puçol have collaborated on a multimedia project that celebrates children’s rights. The campaign has been called “We have the right to be heard” and features ten students commenting on key commitments with children’s welfare as life, family, education, and health, among other rights.
Each school had one representative from a specific grade level. The video was published on Friday, November 19, 2021, on Puçol’s official YouTube channel and on some social media channels. Additionally, it was screened in the local cinema on Friday evening. Enjoy it by following the link below:
