American School of Valencia has completed a series of campus renovations and upgrades which started on December 21, 2016 while students and staff enjoyed the Winter Holidays. The most important change for the the school community is the relocation of Visions Café, which as of tomorrow, Monday, January 9, 2017, will reopen in the new dining hall located in the Athletic Center. Thanks to this change, Visions Café will increase its seating capacity and has a better location within the school campus, with nice views to the basketball court and the Athletic Field.
Parents, high school students, invited guests and staff wishing to use this new location can access Visions by passing through the High School entrance towards the south area of the school campus. Opening hours have not changed and will remain as follows mornings, from 09:00 to 11:45, and afternoons, from 15:30 to 18:00.
Alongside this upgrade, we have completed the renovation of the First and Second Grade Corridor Bathrooms, which have received a facelift in order to improve their functionality. In addition, the room formerly used for library storage, has been converted to host a Conference Room, the Human Resources Office, and the Creativity and Development Office. Finally, the school has created a highly professional Admissions Office located in an area adjacent to the Atrium. Collectively, these series of facility improvements will add improved functionality, as well as an enhanced environment for all stakeholders.
