ASV International Partnerships
Earlier in October 2024, three student-teachers from the University of Kentucky –Ms. Caroline Andres (Grade 1), Ms. Annie Taylor (Grade 2), and Ms. Lily-Grace Oles (Grade 4)– joined the Elementary School community. These undergraduate students will serve their practicums at ASV until the end of the Fall 2024 Semester.
Two professors from the University of Kentucky, Dr. Jonathan Thomas (Professor of Mathematics and STEAM) and Dr. Kenneth Tyler (Dean of Associate Dean), visited ASV on November 18 and 19 to observe how the student-teachers are progressing. The visit included class observation, interviews and a tour of the ASV Campus and facilities. ASV and the University of Kentucky have been collaborating since 2015, and are looking forward to continuing in the years to come.
