Grades 6 through 10 had this past Tuesday the Track and Field Championship and the Sports Day. This special activity combined track and field events in the morning, and soccer, basketball, tennis, and paddle after the lunch break. The activity was held at the Puçol Sports Center.
Students were assigned to four different teams combining members from all grades. Each athlete could enroll in those events he/she preferred. “There were some incredible performances, including a number of school records!”, ASV Athletic Director, Mr. Ojelade, declared. “I personally really enjoyed seeing students from Grade 6 to Grade 10 working together and supporting each other throughout the day”, he pointed out.
Senior students did not participate but a group of 11th graders volunteered supervising the events. Thank you!
