ASV Hosts a Conference on Marketing and Communications for International Schools
American School of Valencia hosted a professional conference for marketing and communications coordinators in international education on May 4 and 5, 2019. The conference took place in Valencia with seven international schools attending: American Overseas School of Rome, American School of Madrid, American School of Barcelona, American School of Milan, American School of Valencia, American School of Turin, and Benjamin Franklin International School (Barcelona).
By attending this meeting, staff members coordinating communications, marketing, and alumni relations in all those schools will be able to create a professional network to cooperate and improve their knowledge and expertise. The conference included an specific agenda for Directors.
As part of this event, Dr. José Martínez (professor at Cardenal Herrera CEU University) offered a keynote talk on marketing trends. Martinez, who is an outstanding faculty member of CEU’s School of Communications, encouraged schools to be proactive and lead a creative conversation with their audiences.
Participants gave a positive feedback on the professional bonds created through this event but also enjoyed the cultural agenda planned on Saturday afternoon to showcase a beautiful part of our city, the City of Arts and Sciences.
