At ASV, the important American holiday of Thanksgiving was celebrated in several ways, including the traditional turkey lunch. The lunch included turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, jello and other traditional Thanksgiving foods. Our cafeteria staff from Colevisa did an outstanding job of providing a creative and festive display as you can see in the photos!
Classes in Grades 1 and 2 learned about the first Thanksgiving and created fun holiday crafts to decorate their walls. On Thursday, November 26, 2020, the Thanksgiving symbols were used as part of some entertaining Math activities.
