STEAM Summerland
Perfect for English-speaking students who are passionate about science and technology. This program offers hands-on projects and interactive learning in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. This program is designed for curious students who want to solve real-world problems. Each week, students engage in high-level projects—from robotics and coding to architectural design and scientific experiments—using a hands-on, “maker” approach.
Because the projects involve technical instructions, collaborative teamwork, and complex problem-solving, a minimum intermediate level of English is required. This ensures that students can safely follow laboratory protocols and actively contribute to group discussions and presentations.
The curriculum changes weekly to cover different fields of innovation. One week might focus on Renewable Energy and building wind turbines, while another might dive into Digital Arts or Structural Engineering. Every project is designed to challenge their critical thinking and creativity.
