Over the past two months, a team of ASV staff have been collaborating on revising the Emergency Evacuation Procedures, which has resulted in a new edition of the ASV Emergency Evacuation Procedures Manual. This document guides the whole staff in the unfortunate event that we need to evacuate the school due to an emergency.
Emergency evacuation drills were practiced by the school staff in October and November 2018, coinciding with the bimonthly after-school faculty meetings. An additional drill, not announced to students, took place on December 5, 2018 and was a resounding success. In order to ensure that the school is prepared for an emergency, the school will continue to hold unannounced emergency evacuations in the future. So, thank you to our students and staff for being so well-prepared.
