Ms Amanda Bird: 7th and 8th grade Language Arts
We wish Ms Amanda Bird well as she heads on maternity leave. We anxiously await the return of Ms Emily Barker. Ms Barker was with us Spring Semester as a student teacher in Art. As a result, she already has a relationship with the 7th and 8th grade students she will be teaching. Even though her primary focus is Art, she is well qualified for the English Language Arts position.
She is graduating from the University of Northern Colorado. In addition to her degree in Art and minor in Spanish, she is certified in Teaching English as a Second Language, Spanish, and Bilingual/Bicultural Education K-12 teaching endorsements.
