A tradition in our school is that international students taking SSL (Spanish as Second Language) have a chance to enjoy Valencia during its most well-known festival, the Fallas. So on Wednesday March 2, 50 High School students and their teachers Ms. Eugènia Bayarri and Ms. Lucía Gómez, visited the Ninot Exhibition, where each falla shows its most beautiful figure, and enjoyed a chocolate and the mascletà (a firework display) in the town center.
SSL Elementary students, with Ms. Ana Arjona and Ms. Elena Corchs, had their tour on Thursday, but they started visiting the workshop where the official Falla is being built. The ASV group had the opportunity to meet the artist Manolo García and his team finishing the structure, before enjoying chocolate and attend the mascletà.
