This weekend we saw two days of exciting soccer matches featuring three ASV teams. All teams played Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Our rarely defeated Senior girls team (Grade 9-12) came up against an extremely strong team from the American School of Madrid. Our girls fought hard but went down 10-1 on Friday and 12-3 on Saturday. Our Junior girls team (Grade 6-8) continue to go from strength to strength. On Friday they drew 4-4 with the American School of Barcelona before a very exciting 5-4 victory on Saturday morning. Our Junior boys team (Grade 6-8) lost 6-4 on Friday to ASB before a really impressive 10-4 victory on Saturday. The Barcelona students were hosted by our students and there was an excellent atmosphere over the weekend.
