Grade 5 had an exciting week because…
…on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 they had a field trip to Xativa to visit the medieval castle. The position over the city gives it great sights and inside there is an interesting exhibition on society and life in the Middle Ages. The visit is supporting the Social Studies course in the Spanish national curriculum.
On Thursday, February 7, they had a special science presentation on the physical characteristics of light offered by one of the parents in 5 Blue. The activity finished launching a rocket which was propelled by pumped water, in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first man who walked on the moon.
