Human Body Science Fair

Grade 4 hosted on February 29, 2024 a Human Body Science Fair to share with the school community their research findings on their research questions. Attendees, including students from other classes and families, learned about the Human Body and blue ribbons were given for:

A great way to end the Science Week was the interesting talk on renewable energy that a Grade 4 parent, offered to students on Friday, March 1, 2024. Students feel more than ready to start their new Science unit on Energy!

Grade 5 Students Go to the Science Lab

Also on this week, all Grade 5 students wore their scientist caps as they had the opportunity to conduct a science experiment in the MS-HS Science Lab. Students learned how to measure the Ph levels in different water samples and how upon measuring them, they needed to collect and record the data.

“Our Grade 5 scientists worked towards identifying the Ph-levels in different water sources, and then finally whether ocean acidification could be the cause of the erosion or cracking of seashells,” Mr. Benjamin Cottingham explained.
