Throughout this afternoon and until a few minutes ago, the ASV staff have been monitoring the situation and official information sources of the Generalitat Valenciana, the Valencian Emergency Agency, and the Conselleria d’Educació. Based on all of these sources of information, ASV classes and activities will be canceled on Thursday, October 31, 2024.
Based on the most recent information ASV wishes to announce the following which replaces any earlier communication:
- The Generalitat Valenciana, through the Valencian Emergencies Agency, has not removed the emergency level (Emergencia Situación 2) due to floods.
- Both Generalitat Valenciana and the Spanish Government have remarked on the risks and difficulties across several roads and areas in Valencia.
- The Generalitat and Spanish Government are requesting people to not travel for security reasons as well as to allow emergency services to clean the roads and serve the communities most affected.
Therefore, ASV will not hold classes or offer any activities on Thursday, October 31, 2024.
