It seems like it cannot be true but it is already time to begin planning for the entrance of 6th graders to High School. Parents of these students are invited to attend an informative meeting on Wednesday, May 11 , 2016 at 15.30 in the Dining Hall to discuss the academic program, explain procedures and policies, and focus on how to make the transition successful!
This next week, ASV’s High School Principal, Dr. Kristy Beam, will visit the grade 6 students in their classes to talk about the academic program and course selection form, which is attached for your preview.
This is just the first event as part of our orientation and transition process. In May 2016, all of these students will participate in a weeklong orientation and in September 2016, we will host a parent and student meeting the week prior to the start of the school year.
