The school community is invited to attend the upcoming concert of ASV alumnus Jorge Tabarés with the University of Valencia Philharmonic Orchestra on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 19:30 at the Sala Iturbi in the Palau de la Música de Valencia. The concert is the official opening of the 2018-2019 academic year for this orchestra and will be featuring works of A. Dvorák and E. Grieg. There is no charge for the concert.
As some of you know, Jorge graduated for ASV as a member of the Class of 2014, studies piano and composition at the Mannes School of Music at The New School in New York City, and is a very accomplished pianist and composer. His recitals and concerts are always a tour de force, and everyone leaves inspired and filled with a joy of the music he plays.
