We would like to thank the ASV community for the overwhelming generosity shown by the donations received for the Ukrainian Relief Campaign. Hundreds of requested items that are critically needed such as blankets, sleeping bags, sleeping mats, coats, and all types of clothing and shoes for children, women, and men were donated!
Members of our Ukrainian community, organized by Ms. Eleanora Vatral, came on Friday, March 11, 2022, to pick up the items. A number of IB CAS Students, organized by Mr. Marc Boyer, also helped load the items for transport to the distribution center for shipping.
Please remember that we will still be collecting clothing for women and children (both warm and cool weather) during the week of March 21-25, 2022, the week we return from Fallas, for those Ukrainians displaced and coming to Valencia. Some of these items will be distributed by a local church.
