Starting this week, Elementary and High School students have a new technology resource: two carts with Chromebooks which can be used not only in the Computer Labs but anywhere on campus.
A Chromebook is a laptop computer running Chrome OS, the operating system developed by Google. Users log in with their ASV Google account and right after booting they get their email and files, and the online apps available at ASV. The devices chosen for this upgrade are light, durable, and can work as laptop or tablet thanks to a multitouch screen and stylus.
