New Interactive Screens in High School

High School groups using the Library and Room 39 are enjoying new interactive screens that improve the quality of the image displayed and expand the multimedia features available in this type of device.

Clevertouch Screens -this is how they are known- are “bigger and brighter than projectors which means they can be seen better and from a further distance,” ASV Innovation and Technology Coordinator Mr. Samuel Landete describes. “They allow up to four devices projecting at the same time and offer wider connectivity options and annotation tools. Additionally, the response is faster” he remarks.

Sustainability has been another key reason to start the implementation of these devices: “They do not require changing light bulbs. They also are instant on and off, unlike the projectors that have to heat the lamp”.

The screens were installed during the recent winter break. The removed interactive projectors have been relocated.
