ASV is pleased to share a recent achievement by Marina Ortells (Class of 2022) who, along with another UPV student, won the 2025 edition of the “University Digital Leaders” competition organized by Telefónica. This event, held on April 3 and 4 in Madrid, brought together 39 university teams who had to face several challenges designed to test technical skills, creativity, and teamwork capabilities.
Marina’s team was able to develop an app that groups a variety of official IDs, drafted an action plan to renovate a Telefónica store, and finally, devised a new product based on observations made in the company’s innovation space.
“The competition pushed us to think outside our comfort zone. We had to create viable and innovative solutions to real problems that large companies usually face,” Marina says. “It was a very enriching format to develop problem-solving, creativity, and other key strengths for wor life,” she added.
