Students in grades 3-10 started on Thursday the spring administration of the MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) Test. Until Friday, June 2, these classes will use the High School Computer Lab to take the online exam designed to determine the acquisition of content standards in content areas of Reading and Mathematics.
MAP provides administrators and teachers with detailed information on school-wide academic performance and the specific needs of each student. In the recent years, ASV students have been succeeding well above international averages on MAP tests as well as on other external assessments (IB final exams, Selectividad, ACT and SAT).
Homeroom teachers and advisors will communicate the dates of your child’s tests. Please, stress the importance of doing his/her best but ensure the student is relaxed and have good rest during these dates.
