MADMUN 2017

On April 21,  22, and 23 an ASV team of delegates represented a variety of countries at the 8th annual MADMUN conference at the American School of Madrid. The students debated on resolutions for such global issues such as the refugee crisis, weaponised drones, sustainable agriculture, corporate tax corruption, and women’s rights in the Middle East. Each student also made an opening speech in front of their committee. They had a wonderful time at ASM host family homes and engaged in discussions with students from six other international schools over the course of the weekend.

The ASV team was made up of these students in 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grades: Rodrigo R, Fernando T, Rafael V., Ricardo S., Alessandro Z, Pablo C., Óscar E., Jacobo B., Miguel E., Carlos V., Amelia E., and Julia G., made up the ASV delegation. They did a great job and represented our school magnificently!
