The Spanish Department prepared a special activity where students have a chance to engage with literature and writing. On Monday, May 16, classes from 7th to 10th grade were invited to attend a literary assembly celebrating the 400 anniversary of Shakespeare and Cervantes’ death.
During the first part, the Spanish poet and journalist Manuel Juliá Dorado offered a short talk focused on topics and literary values shared by both writers. After that, a group of 9th graders read passages from El Quijote and the Elementary SSL group showed a short video of classroom activities based on this book.
