The 11th Grade French Class organized the Language Day at ASV, an annual event following the model of UNESCO’s International Mother Language Day. Students from 9th through 12th grade were invited to attend an special assembly to celebrate the cultural diversity of our school community. There was an opening video featuring international students at ASV, with most of them presenting the languages they can speak. Then groups of students read poems or performed songs in multiple languages. One week before the assembly, an announcement board in the atrium collected messages under the idea that “We All Smile in the Same Language.”
