Three of our teachers are sharing their professional experience at the upcoming event IMAT 2017, an encounter on innovation on education and other professional areas which will be held in Valencia from June 29 to 30, 2017. They are Mr. Samuel Landete (IT Coordinator), Ms. Rosemarie Lima (homeroom teacher for 1B), and Ms. Julie Murphy (English Teacher in High School).
ASV teachers will present on June 28 during the day focused on “Teaching Experiences”. Mr. Landete will talk about the project Genius Hour, inspired by Google’s 20% Time routines, which invites students to develop their own learning projects. On the other hand, Ms.Lima will describe the way ASV technology supports the academic curriculum while Ms. Murphy has prepared a presentation on teaching methods based on the new type of ASV learning spaces. In total, 40 high-level speakers coming from multiple areas are taking part of IMAT.
