Last week, three pairs of Grade 11 students visited their peers in Grade 10 and talked about the IB Diploma. They presented their own experience on how to organize the school work if they have planned to take this specific program.
Since 2004, American School of Valencia has offered the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB DP) as a complementary academic pathway, which allows students to earn the IB Diploma additionally to the American High School Diploma and the Spanish Título de Bachillerato.
The IB program combines a broad breadth and depth of study, stimulates critical and humanitarian thinking, and promotes a global vision. The IB Diploma Program at ASV has increasingly become the academic program of choice in recent years, and in 2021-2022 more than 70 percent of all students entering into Grade 11 have selected the IB pathway.
