This past week, ASV hosted an official IB Evaluation Visit to review the five-year reauthorization of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB DP). Ms. Marta Landazábal, a representative of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), led the onsite evaluation visit with additional virtual collaboration from another IBO evaluator located in Germany. Their work included a wide variety of meetings with IB students, families, faculty-staff, as well as numerous IB class and campus observations.
This IBO visit is part of the mandatory five-year IB Diploma Program authorization review cycle and follows a comprehensive IB DP Self-Study written by ASV during the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic years. We look forward to sharing further updates on the outcome of this process with our community when information is shared by the IBO.
