Guinness World Record Attempt

On Thursday, June 1, 2017, the school community, represented by students in  5th to 12th grade, collaborated to break a Guinness World Record for the most people dancing the Whigfield “Saturday Night” Dance. The activity was organized by two ASV seniors, Sara González and Martín Zamorano, and was performed at the ASV Athletic Field with some teachers dancing, others supervising, and some parents participating as witnesses.

In total, 392 people performed the dance for five minutes, passing the previous record. The idea was to unite the school community in a singular action, “showing that we can work together to achieve a shared goal”, Sara and Martin explained. Both students, now ASV graduates, must submit information and video recordings requested by the Guinness organization.
