Grade 5 classes have been working hard over the past three weeks studying Non-Fiction Information Writing. Students have taken on the role of historians, learning about an event or a person in history, taking notes, and writing an informational report on what they consider to be important events and moments that we should learn about and remember.
As a culmination of this work, on Friday, March 24, 2023, parents were invited to the Grade 5 Winter Learning Showcase, featuring students’ Informational Writing Booklets in the form of a Publishing Party.
Every grade level in Elementary School is offering one learning showcase between March and May.
