Thank you to Ms. Laura Goodbrand, an ASV parent who visited the Grade 4 Language Lab this week to teach about Scotland. Students enjoyed learning about the traditional kilt, the national animal (the unicorn!), the myth of the Loch Ness monster and even some words that are new to them like “lass” and “bonnie.”
“It was such a great experience for the kids to learn about a different culture and a country where English is spoken, but traditions are quite different from what we know in Spain or the United States!
