Grade 4 Human Body Science Fair

Our Grade 4 students recently hosted an impressive Science Fair focused on the human body. The Athletic Center was filled with energy as students presented 3D models and live demonstrations to visiting classes from across the school.

Throughout February, students were working on inquiry-based research projects focused on their own most interesting questions about a specific body system or part. Then they had to prepare a model and an oral presentation summarizing their findings to the diverse audiences attending the event. Students were not limited to explain how a part works, but also how challenges or disorders related to it can affect a person’s everyday life.

It was wonderful to see so many parents join us for this student-led event. To conclude the morning, Grade 4 Science teacher Ms. Megan Rose presented awards to celebrate the students’ hard work and scientific curiosity. Congratulations to all of our young researchers!
