Grade 10 Sustainability Summit

ASV was proud to present all of the research projects done by the Grade 10 cohort at the First Sustainability Summit.

Students presented the work done this year on five selected United Nations Sustainable Development Goals that are most connected to our Grade 10 English curriculum: quality education; gender equality; decent work and economic growth; reduced inequalities; or peace, justice and strong institutions.

Parents, as well as teachers with other Middle School and High School students attended.

Students were placed at individual stands presenting their research, a role that allowed them to practice oral communication and public speaking skills in addition to the prior research work done. While these projects were completed in English, students presented with ease in multiple languages – Spanish, Valencian, or French – depending on their audience.
