On Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24, ASV took part of the soccer tournament Iberian Cup. The event was open to junior teams representing four international schools: American School of Madrid, American School of Barcelona, Humanitas Madrid, and ASV. Our players had three games on Saturday, and one more on Sunday morning playing for third place. They finished the tournament on a high with a resounding 4-1 win with 3 goals from Kelly Iriondo and 1 from Sara Tormos.
Coach Ojelade highlighted that “girls conducted themselves excellent throughout the tournament. It has been great to see how they have interacted with the girls from the other school and they are really growing as a team”. On Friday afternoon, with Mr. Ojelade and Ms. KyleAnne Kiraly, the group had a nice time visiting must-see places such as Puerta de Alcalá and Parque del Retiro.
