First Meeting of the ASV Eco-Committee

The American School of Valencia is committed to integrating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into a wide range of school activities, emphasizing sustainability and environmental responsibility. Leading this student-driven initiative is the ASV Eco-Committee, which held its first meeting of the year on Friday, October 4, 2024.

During the meeting, students and parents collaborated on key issues such as recycling, littering, and food waste. Together, they brainstormed innovative solutions and began crafting an action plan to be finalized at their next meeting on November 7th.

Through this initiative, ASV is not only encouraging environmental responsibility but also empowering students to become leaders in sustainability. By engaging in real-world problem-solving and actively contributing to global goals, students are learning valuable skills that extend beyond the classroom, preparing them to be thoughtful, proactive citizens of the world.
