It’s been a busy and exciting week for ASV Athletics, with our teams shining on and off the field!
⚽️ Girls Soccer Triumphs in Berlin!
After a challenging season last year, our high school girls soccer team made an incredible comeback in the ESC Division 2 tournament in Berlin. Despite being relegated to Division 2, they rose to the occasion, emerging as champions and earning their well-deserved promotion back to Division 1. We’re excited to see them compete at the top level next year—congratulations, champions!
⚽️ Boys Soccer Takes Division 1 Crown
On Monday and Tuesday, ASV proudly hosted the Boys’ Varsity Soccer ESC tournament right here in Valencia. Equally impressive, the boys soccer team secured the ESC Division 1 title! The team showcased an amazing performance throughout the tournament and dominated each of the games they played, ensuring the title with a goal at the very end of the final. What an amazing achievement—well done!
A heartfelt thank you goes out to ISZL for their generous donation to support towns affected by the DANA. Our Athletics Department delivered their contribution to the logistics center, demonstrating the power of sports in bringing communities together.
🏐 Historic Achievement for Girls Volleyball
The girls volleyball team also had a stellar tournament in Lausanne, earning their best-ever ESC volleyball result by finishing third in their category. Their perseverance and teamwork have set a new benchmark for the program—congratulations on this historic milestone!
🏐 Boys Volleyball Team Impresses in Barcelona
Our boys volleyball team, one of the youngest squads in the tournament, showcased exceptional promise at the ESC tournament in Barcelona. With the majority of players in Grade 9, their outstanding performance is a huge step forward. They have three more years to grow and aim for the trophy, and their future looks incredibly bright!
