Elementary School held the “Celebration of Learning” on Friday, May 10, 2019, for all parents of students in Grades 1 through 5. As is the tradition, these classes presented a variety of cross-curricular projects and engaged parents in sharing what has been learned this year.
Each class had several centers featuring games and activities based on each grade-level curriculum in Math, Language and Arts, Science and Social Studies. Additionally, there were boxes, tables, and displays of projects made in the Language and Arts Writing Workshop, and in other courses.
This year teachers have been piloting some specific techniques to integrate technology in their instruction. That is why parents were able to use iPads and Chromebooks to watch slideshows, stop-motion videos, and other digital outcomes.
Thank you for visiting the school campus and give part of your time to share in the ASV learning experience!
