On Wednesday 2nd December 15 grade 11 students visited a children’s home in El Real de Gandia (El Preventorio Infantil de Nuestra Señora del Amparo). They spend the day doing festive craft activities with the children, who are aged between 3 – 11. Our students demonstrated outstanding leadership skills as they connected with the young children, during both structured activities as well as during the schools break time. As part of the day over 12 bags of food supplies, received from our food drive outside Mercadona in the center of Valencia, were delivered. This is the fourth year we have visited the children and each year our students return realizing that happiness is not always achieved through money alone. It is a excellent opportunity for our students to connect with those who are not so fortunate as themselves.
