For the third year in a row, ASV students are at the top of the mathematical modeling challenge IMMC. The organizing committee recently announced the result of the national stage and who are the three winning teams. One of these is the ASV team composed by Danila K., Héctor F., Pablo C., and Luca G (all of them in Grade 11). Claudia A. and Claudia R., both in Grade 10, have received a special mention and will be the reserve team.
IMMC is a mathematical challenge addressed to students in High School interested in the use of mathematics to solve real-life problems. Participants in the national phase had to analyze and optimize the organization of a restaurant to improve its performance. The next stage, starting on March 7, 2022, consists of another mathematical modelization problem. The teams submitting the two best solutions will qualify to represent Spain in the international challenge.
