ASV Students participating in the Global Exchange Program with Seabury Hall returned to Valencia on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 after fourteen wonderful days in Maui (Hawaii). Their stay coincided with our Spring Break and combined regular activities on campus, three incredible field trips to explore the island and free time with their exchange peers and the host families.
On April 16, ASV and Seabury Hall students embarked on an exciting snorkeling trip to the stunning Molokini Island. The group had the rare opportunity to witness dolphins and whales in their natural habitat. One week later, the second field trip was an unforgettable journey along the iconic Road to Hana in East Maui. The third special activity was a visit to the Haleakalā National Park including its vast volcanic crater and the astronomical observatory.
ASV students loved the very special atmosphere of Seabury Hall, Hawaiian culture, along with the hospitality of the host students and families.

2024-2025 Global Exchange Programs
ASV participated with two long-standing global exchange partners, Community School of Naples and Seabury Hall, and also hosted students from Riverstone International School in Boise, Idaho, a new school whose students combined a long stay in Madrid and a weekend in Valencia experiencing the first days of Fallas. So, with the conclusion of the exchange with Seabury Hall, ASV has completed the three global exchange programs planned in 2024-2025.
Cumulatively, 26 ASV students and their families from Grades 7, 8, 9 and 10 participated in at least one aspect of the three Global Exchange Programs in 2024-2025.
One of the school’s goals is to offer diverse opportunities for our students to engage in global experiences through a multitude of academic and athletic offerings, as well as to share the joys of Valencia with other students, families and schools in order to enrich the already diverse experiences available at ASV.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our students, families, faculty-staff, global exchange chaperones, and our global exchange partners for sharing such a wide array of intercultural experiences in 2024-2025. We are all enriched by these acts of human interconnectedness, and the opportunities to learn through them. This is the ASV Difference!
