ASV is hosting VALMUN 2017

On Friday, November 17, 2017, American School of Valencia is hosting the fifth Annual VALMUN conference. For three days, 200 student-delegates will be in our campus debating on global issues following the official procedures and protocols of the United Nations.

This year we are welcoming three delegations from Spain (American School of Madrid, Cambridge House Community College and American School of Valencia), two from France(Marymount International School and American School of Paris), one from Luxembourg(International School of Luxembourg), and one from Turkey (Izmir SEV).

ASV will be represented by 43 delegates and an experienced team of 11th and 12th graders in the role of chairs and general secretary. Another group will support the conference as admins. The conference theme is Achieving a stable and modern international society by peacefully solving menacing crisis and the agenda includes current affairs such as the protection of refugees, North Korea’s nuclear program, or the promotion of women’s economic empowerment.
