On Friday, May 25, 2018, the American School of Valencia Foundation invited the ASV community and the local community to support the traditional spring fundraiser party. This edition was a Hawaiian Party, which was noticeable looking at the colorful costumes and the creative decorations in Park B; palm trees, flowers and even volcano decorated the stage.
Children had access to the swimming pool early in the afternoon, and later were able to enjoy a variety of games and arts and crafts (all referring the beach and the surf culture). There also was a fun photocall, the tiki-bar to get tropical drinks, the food court, and the barbecue where the dinner was prepared. Live music was offered by a jazz band led by Sergio Pereira (guitarist) and Viktorija Pilatovic (voice). All of this was followed by the announcement of the winners of the ninots in the Silent Auction.
