ASV Celebrates its 44th Anniversary!

The American School of Valencia proudly celebrates its 44th anniversary today, Monday, October 14, 2024. The school first opened its doors as Colegio Hispano-Americano, welcoming just 27 students on this day in 1980.

Founded by a group of visionary families, ASV was created to be the first American and English-speaking school in Valencia. Preparations for the school began in 1978, with formal consultations with Spanish educational authorities, along with strong support from the United States Embassy and the Middle States Association. The Preschool building was the first structure to be built on the campus. Over the years, the school has expanded its facilities, programs, and community outreach initiatives, creating a vibrant learning environment where students thrive

From these humble beginnings, ASV has grown into the leading international school in the region. With over 1,400 graduates from 32 classes, ASV’s sustained commitment to educational excellence is evident. Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey!
