Last week, Grade 4 went to El Carme Art Museum in Valencia to enjoy the exhibition “If I could choose my landscape”. 4 Silver had this activity on Tuesday and Blue and White on Wednesday. “Students looked at different artworks and collaborated together to identify feelings art is trying to convey,” Grade 4 Silver teacher Ms. Megan Rose describes.
To complete this learning activity, students walked to the nearby El Carme square, a picturesque place of Valencia’s city center, and met an artist who taught them how to sketch buildings. They will continue with this work in Art class in the following weeks.
